iStockMgt is a cloud-based Warehouse Management System. There is an app that can be installed in any Android or iPhone (to come) device with a scanner in-built or attached for doing putaways, picking, packing and working in the warehouse; and there is a web based admin system designed to work on tablets or PCs for the main settings and also tracking and reporting.
To start, warehouse locations must be created, for the items to be stored in. Locations can be entered in directly on the system in the location section or uploaded using a CSV file generated from a spreadsheet.
Next thing is to add app users, these are people working in the warehouse using the app to scan the transactions. Each user is given a 5 digit pin.
To enter in the products, this is done in the products section. It is also possible to add products and add initial stock in one step from the app using a putaway; this is a good way of adding products as the scan code is entered in first, via the scanning in the app.
At this point items coming into and going out of the warehouse can be tracked and logged. This can be done using the AD-HOC functions for INs and OUTs, one product at a time. Items can also move from locations using the transfer function. There are also putaways, picking and packing functions, these allow items that are group together, and are mapped to real world operations.
Admin users are people who can log in and use the web based admin system. Users are added by entering their email into the system.
