Although picking happens before packing, the picklists are generated off the back of packlists. One picklist may be made up of one packlist or many packlists.
When a picklist is generated the packlists that belong to that picklist are not allowed to be used until the picking is finished.
Picklists are ordered alphabetically by location, to aid efficiency when picking. When picking, it is assumed that the products from the pick will put in a packing area.
Picklists can be searched by the picklist code or by the ref using the search bar. The number of results is reduced as the required is typed in.
